Wedding Photography Packages to Capture Your Day

Wedding Photography Packages to Capture Your Day — wedding photography by Precious Pics

We run three wedding packages. Three, on purpose. Most studios offer seven tiers to make you feel like you're choosing; the honest truth is that 90% of weddings fit into one of three shapes. Solo photography. Solo videography. Both together.

Here's what each one includes, what it actually costs, and which one you probably want.

Photography — $1,299

One lead photographer. Unlimited shots. Unlimited locations within the wedding day. Digital delivery of the full edited gallery in 14 days.

This is the package for smaller weddings, simpler timelines, and couples who know photography is their priority and don't want video. It's not a stripped-down compromise — the photographer is the same lead shooter you'd get in the top package, and the coverage is whatever the day actually needs, not clock-watched.

Good for: weddings under 75 guests, single-venue days, couples who already know video isn't for them.

Videography — $1,499

One lead videographer. Multi-camera coverage of the ceremony. Edited highlight film plus full ceremony coverage. Music licensing included.

Video-only couples are rarer than photo-only couples, but they exist and we respect it. Usually it's because the couple already has a family photographer they love or is getting personal photos informally and wants the film professional.

Good for: couples who value motion over stills, families with a cousin-with-a-camera already volunteering for photos, intimate ceremonies where one person moving through the space is less invasive than two.

Collections — $1,999

Full photography and videography team. Lead photographer, lead videographer, coordinated shot planning, integrated delivery — the photos and the film are edited to feel like they came from the same day, because they did.

This is what most of our couples book. It's $200 more than photo and video added together separately because we're running one coordinated team instead of two studios trying not to step on each other. You pay a little for the coordination; you get a lot in return.

Good for: most weddings with 50+ guests, any day where both stills and motion matter, couples who want the full story preserved in both forms.

What's always included — regardless of tier

  • Pre-wedding consultation and timeline planning. We build the timeline with you and your planner.
  • 14-day edited gallery delivery. Faster than industry standard.
  • Unlimited locations within the wedding day. First look at venue A, ceremony at venue B, reception at venue C — no travel uplift.
  • US travel included in every package. No surprise flights or lodging on the invoice.
  • Backup equipment — every lead carries two bodies and redundant cards.
  • Wedding concierge — a human who answers your emails during planning, not a chatbot.

What's not included — common add-ons

  • Engagement session — $350, separate shoot scheduled 3–6 months before the wedding
  • Second photographer — $450, recommended for weddings over 80 guests
  • Drone coverage — $400–$900 depending on venue type (see our drone post for the honest version of when it's worth it)
  • Custom album — $600 and up, printed 10x10 matte with 20 spreads included
  • Social media cut — $150, 30–60 second vertical video for Reels/TikTok within 72 hours of the wedding
  • Extra-fast delivery — $250, cuts the 14-day turnaround to seven

How to pick between them

Three questions:

Is video important to you? If yes, Collections. If genuinely no, Photography. If you're unsure, Collections — couples who skip video almost always regret it; couples who skip photos almost never do.

How big is the guest count? Under 40, Photography is fine alone. Over 80, Collections. Between is a judgment call; call us and we'll be honest.

What's your overall photography/video budget? If the whole budget is under $2,500, we'll help you fit Photography cleanly into it. Over $2,500, Collections is the better value per dollar.

The pre-booking hold

Every package can be held with a $200 pre-booking. That money applies to your final invoice. It buys you a date without locking you into a package — you can decide between Photography and Collections up until 90 days out.

We're not in the business of pressuring couples into bigger packages than they need. We are in the business of making sure the coverage you book is the coverage your day actually wants.
