Wedding Photography in the South Sound
Tacoma has a different feel than Seattle. The venues here run from converted warehouses and brick-industrial spaces in the Brewery District to waterfront ballrooms overlooking Commencement Bay and formal garden estates outside the city proper. The light on Puget Sound from Tacoma's west-facing venues hits differently. Late-afternoon ceremonies get the sun dropping over the Olympic Peninsula, which produces some of the more dramatic sky backdrops you'll find in the PNW.
The city's arts district around Museum of Glass and the Museum of Art has produced a handful of event spaces that couples like for their character: exposed brick, high ceilings, industrial bones that photograph well without needing much setup. These aren't cookie-cutter ballrooms. They require a team comfortable with tight spaces, mixed lighting, and fast transitions when the caterer needs the room flipped.
We cover Tacoma and the full South Sound corridor: Gig Harbor across the Narrows, down to Olympia, and out to Puyallup and the Valley. If your venue is in this area, we know the territory.
