Wedding Photography & Video in Northern Virginia
Northern Virginia stretches from the urban core of Arlington and Alexandria to the sprawling Loudoun County wine estates and horse country. Salamander Resort in Middleburg sits on 340 acres of manicured grounds and gets that honeyed golden-hour light you dream about in October. Stone Tower Winery, 206 acres overlooking the Bull Run Mountains, shoots beautifully at dusk when the Blue Ridge goes dark behind the vineyard rows. The Carlyle House in Old Town Alexandria. 18th-century brick on cobblestones, gives you Potomac access and street light you don't have to hunt for.
The whole corridor has logistics you need to know. Route 7 into Loudoun on a Saturday afternoon adds 45 minutes to an hour from the Reston area. Spring blooms (Apr-May) come and go in a week. Fall (Sep-Oct) is the money season, but estate grounds need a scout ahead of time, we do that. Private estates dominate, so ceremony flexibility is high and public-park permit headaches are rare.
Take a look at the portfolio, if you're planning a Northern Virginia wedding, let's talk.
