Routes 7 and 28 into wine country on a Saturday can add 30 to 45 minutes depending on where guests are coming from. We don't schedule portraits back-to-back with ceremony end time. We build the buffer in. For venues near Arlington or Alexandria, the logistics are different: narrower streets, parking garages, sometimes no drop-off zone within two blocks of the venue. We scout beforehand. By the time your day arrives, we know where we're going and what the timeline can realistically hold.
Yes, both. They're very different to shoot. Urban Arlington and Old Town Alexandria weddings have dense streetscapes, interesting light from buildings and water, and tend to run on tighter timelines because everything is closer together. Loudoun County vineyard weddings have open-sky ceremonies, longer drives between locations, and golden-hour conditions that are hard to find in the city. We've worked across the full corridor. Couples booking us get a team that can handle both environments.
Photography starts at $1,299, videography at $1,499, and combined photo + video packages from $1,999. The final number depends on hours of coverage, team size, and what's included: album, second shooter, same-day edit. Most Northern Virginia weddings we shoot run 8 to 10 hours. Loudoun County venues occasionally need an extra hour for the commute from getting-ready location to ceremony site. We'll walk through the specifics once you share your timeline.
