Downtown Norfolk has the Elizabeth River, the neon-lit Granby Street corridor, and formal museum interiors close together. Ghent adds brick homes and tree-lined blocks, while Chesapeake opens into wooded properties and quieter riverfront venues. Tunnel and bridge traffic can change quickly, so cross-city timelines need a buffer.
