Wedding Photography & Video Across Maryland
Maryland weddings cover a lot of ground. There's the Chesapeake Bay side of things: Annapolis waterfront venues where the light bounces off the water at 5 p.m. and turns everything warm. There's the Eastern Shore, where the flatness of the land gives you sky in every direction and barn venues with open fields that eat light beautifully. And then there's the DC-adjacent corridor (Bethesda, Potomac, Chevy Chase) where estates and country clubs sit behind stone walls and the ceremony spaces look nothing like what you'd expect from a suburb.
We shoot across all of it. The Bay brings its own logistics: bridge traffic on 50 heading east on a Saturday morning is a known variable we account for. Eastern Shore venues often mean a full travel day. We plan accordingly.
No two Maryland weddings look the same. That's what makes them interesting to document.

Common questions about working with the White Glove team.
[email protected]Yes. The Eastern Shore is a different kind of shoot. You're dealing with flat landscape, open sky, and venues that are often 90 minutes from DC or Baltimore. We travel out there. Kent Island venues are the closest (20 minutes from Annapolis after the bridge), while places near St. Michaels or Tilghman Island are further. The Bay Bridge can add unpredictable time on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. We leave with buffer. Couples planning Eastern Shore weddings should mention that early so we can plan the full-day logistics.
Dramatically different depending on direction. West-facing Bay venues get direct sunset light, and late-afternoon portraits in summer can be stunning. East-facing venues get the soft reflected light, which is actually easier to work with for ceremony coverage because there's no direct sun in anyone's face. Winter Bay venues lose light by 4:30 p.m. If you're getting married between November and February and you want outdoor portraits, schedule them before the ceremony or immediately after while there's still light. We'll tell you this during planning. It's not a surprise we spring on you the day of.
All of Maryland. Annapolis and the Bay, Bethesda and the DC-adjacent suburbs, Frederick, Potomac, Chevy Chase, and the Eastern Shore from Kent Island out to the more remote parts of Talbot County. Travel within Maryland is included; we don't add fees for destinations within the state.
