Wedding Photography & Video Across Maryland
Maryland weddings cover a lot of ground. There's the Chesapeake Bay side of things: Annapolis waterfront venues where the light bounces off the water at 5 p.m. and turns everything warm. There's the Eastern Shore, where the flatness of the land gives you sky in every direction and barn venues with open fields that eat light beautifully. And then there's the DC-adjacent corridor (Bethesda, Potomac, Chevy Chase) where estates and country clubs sit behind stone walls and the ceremony spaces look nothing like what you'd expect from a suburb.
We shoot across all of it. The Bay brings its own logistics: bridge traffic on 50 heading east on a Saturday morning is a known variable we account for. Eastern Shore venues often mean a full travel day. We plan accordingly.
No two Maryland weddings look the same. That's what makes them interesting to document.
Popular wedding venues in the area
Chesapeake Bay Beach Club — Stevensville waterfront venue directly on the Bay. Sunset ceremonies here face west over the water, and the light at 6 p.m. in late summer is hard to argue with.
Herrington on the Bay — Friendship waterfront with multiple pavilions and open lawn ceremony sites; long sight lines over the Bay give portrait options most indoor venues can't offer.
Briar Patch B&B — A quiet Eastern Shore property near Bozman with tree canopy and garden ceremony space. Intimate, nothing like the big waterfront venues, genuinely lovely for smaller weddings.
Celebrations at the Bay — Pasadena waterfront with a large ballroom and outdoor ceremony deck; popular for larger weddings with full reception and seated dinner.
The Mansion at Bretton Woods — Poolesville estate with formal gardens and a Potomac River view; the kind of venue that photographs like it costs more than it does.
Inn at the Chesapeake Beach Resort — Chesapeake Beach waterfront hotel and venue with outdoor ceremony space directly above the Bay; works in all seasons.
The Weyerhaeuser Estate — Potomac estate property with manicured grounds; quiet, secluded, and the afternoon light through the tree line is excellent for portraits.
Areas we cover include: Annapolis, Bethesda, Potomac, Chevy Chase, Eastern Shore, Frederick.
